Round 3 of our Saul Williams presented series in appreciation of lyricism takes us to NYC, Williams' home turf. It follows on from two groundbreaking sessions, first in London and last week, in Miami where Yasiin Bey made a surprise return to the US after hibernating in South Africa for a while.

Not to be left out to dry, the New York episode is equally as talent-filled: from singers to rappers to the out and out poets. From 4hero collaborator and spoken word prophet, Ursula Rucker, and young soul aliens, OSHUN, to the venerable legends, The Last Poets.

If the first two are anything to go by, this will be a true feast for any fan of verbal gymnastics.
