ILHAN ERSAHIN'S ISTANBUL SESSIONS IS READY TO ROCK LONDON!

Ilhan Erşahin's Istanbul Sessions is ready to rock London Jazz Festival... once again !

After their outstanding performances last year at Southbank Centre, featured by Byron Wallen and Alexander Hawkins, Ilhan Ersahin's Istanbul Sessions is invited back to London Jazz Festival, to perform two nights at Charlie Wright's on 16&17 November... Reflecting the night life of the most vibrating city of eurasia, thru their recent release "Night Rider", Istanbul Sessions "proceeded to show a seen-it-all-before crowd of European jazz festival promoters, club owners and media just how you can excite and grab a new audience by the scruff of its neck without compromising the integrity of the music, or intensity of improvisation" says Jon Newey from Jazzwise magazine...

This time there will be some other musician friends to join them such as Guillaume Perret, Chris Sharkey, Orphy Robinson and Marc Ayza... Join them on this night ride, where jazz can travel you from New York to Istanbul, from London to Paris, from jazz to rock, from eastern darbukas to powerful saxophone solos...
