Ground Control is a dance party that began every Sunday night at Bembe in Williamsburg a few years ago featuring an array of eclectic live bands booked by Colin Brown to rock anything ranging from Jazz, Funk & Lovers Rock to Afro, Caribbean and/or Latin combined with choice cuts of Tropical, Funk & Disco selections curated weekly by resident DJ Mickey Perez.
